Ship husbandry is the routine maintenance and upkeep of a vessel below the waterline, carried out while it stays afloat. Hull cleaning is one task. Ship husbandry is the wider, ongoing programme that hull cleaning sits inside, along with propeller polishing, inspections, mooring checks and in-water repairs. Husbandry is the planned relationship that keeps all of it on schedule rather than a single job.

Why use one provider for husbandry?

Using one team means nothing falls between suppliers. The same people clean, inspect, polish and repair, the condition record stays in one place, and the planning is joined up. You manage one relationship instead of coordinating several contractors for the same vessel.

Can husbandry keep a vessel out of dry-dock?
